A landmark gathering celebrating Lebanese contemporary art and creative dialogue
In 2013, Zena Ghossoub participated in the Visual Art Forum IV held at the UNESCO Palace in Beirut, a distinguished cultural event dedicated to the celebration of visual arts and artistic dialogue in Lebanon.
The event honored distinguished artists Mahmoud Amhaz and Joseph Mattar, whose contributions to Lebanese art were recognized for their creative legacy and influence. The exhibition also featured the works of numerous renowned and emerging artists, including Abbas Makki, Charles Khoury, Daad Abi Saab, Dima Raad, Elias Dib, Fatat Bahmad, Hala Gharzeddine, Maral Der Boghossian, Maya Faress, Michel Rouhana, Missak Terzian, Pascale Massoud, Wajih Nahleh, and Zeina Ghossoub, among others.
Directed by a respected Jury Committee composed of Naim Doumet, Saleh Rifai, Dima Raad, Cesar Nammour, and Adel Kodeh, the forum showcased a diverse spectrum of artistic expressions that reflected the cultural vitality of Beirut.
Through her participation, Zena Ghossoub contributed to an important moment in Lebanon’s artistic history, presenting paintings that explored spirituality, emotion, and the human experience, affirming her early presence in the Lebanese contemporary art scene.
