Claiming Identity: Beyond Representation

GHZ ART Gallery invites women artists from around the world to take part in an upcoming curated exhibition exploring identity as something claimed, constructed, and continuously redefined.

Moving beyond visibility, this exhibition focuses on how artists assert authorship, voice, and presence through their practice—challenging dominant narratives and shaping new forms of representation within the contemporary art world.

We welcome works across all media that engage with identity, memory, the body, and personal or collective experience.

Who can apply:

  • Women artists (emerging and established) — all backgrounds
  • Submission Details:

    • Theme: Claiming Identity: Beyond Representation
    • Eligible Media: Painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, and digital art
    • Number of Works: 1–3 artworks per artist
    • Submission Materials:
      • High-quality images of the work(s)
      • Artwork details (title, medium, dimensions, year)
      • Artist statement (short paragraph)
      • Brief bio
    • Format: PDF or a single email with attachments
    • Deadline: on July 26, 2026

Selected artists will be featured in an international virtual exhibition, with professional curation, global visibility, and opportunities for collector engagement.
